o   What are your fees?

$400  Paid as follows: $175 due when you return a signed contract to either Lisa or Rhonda selecting ONE of them as your doula.  $225,  at your 2^nd  prenatal appointment or with the birth of your baby, whichever comes first.

o   Will both Lisa and Rhonda attend my birth? ​

No, although we are in practice together, you hire only one of us as your primary doula. You then have the option of having the other as your back-up doula and meeting with her at your 38 week prenatal appointment. Generally, a woman who hires a doula does not get to meet her back-up support as well, and we feel that this is an important element to hiring a doula.

o   Can I interview both Lisa and Rhonda at the same time?​

Absolutely! Although you would hire only one of us, we are happy to meet you for a consultation together and feel that this is a great way to utilize your interviewing time.

o   What if I would like to hire Lisa or Rhonda, but do not want to work with the other one as a back-up doula?

Feeling comfortable with everyone on your birth team is of upmost importance and we are very sensitive to that. Please just let us know how you feel and we will find other back-up support. However, we could not guarantee that you would be able to meet with them in person before your birth.

o   Will the doula join me at my home when I am in labor?

We are more than willing to consider this option on a case-by-case basis.  Some considerations are: where you are located compared to the hospital of your choice, whether  this is your first birth, how your labor is progressing. 

o   I am planning to give birth at home, will you attend my birth?

 Yes, we would love to be a part of your home birthing team.
