Consultation Visit

 

If after browsing through our site, you decide that you would like to meet with either Lisa, Rhonda, or both of them, please feel free to email us so we can schedule a meeting. These visits usually last about 30 minutes and they give us the opportunity to get to know each other. Potential clients will sometimes bring a list of questions (click here for a printable list) You are under no obligation to hire us and in fact we encourage you to interview several doulas before making your selection. Our contracts are available to review upon request.

Prenatal Visits

 

One or two prenatal visits where we will discuss your plans for birth, concerns or wishes you may have, and how you see us serving you as your doula. These visits allow us to see your vision for your birth and help us support you and your partner with your labor, birth and postpartum period.

 

Labor Support

 

Continuous support through your entire labor, and up to two hours after your birth to help get breastfeeding established. We will meet you at your home or the hospital when you are ready for us to join you.  We will be ‘on-call’ from weeks 38-42 of your pregnancy and available for unlimited phone or email questions or concerns.

Postpartum Visit

​

A postpartum visit, usually between one and two weeks, to discuss your birth, to answer any follow-up questions, and to help with any breastfeeding concerns. At this time we would love to hear any feedback in regards to our role at your birth.
